Wifi multiplayer

in Working with GS (Mac)
if when the multiplayer is released on GS... i understand we have to pay for servers.

but what if its only multiplayer through wifi... does that need servers?

    This may be a pro only feature. They haven't announced yet if it will be free. Plus until it comes out we won't know exactly how it works.

    i will go pro when im ready to publish my game... i just meant i heard that they will be charging depending on how many people are playing the game multiplayer.

    so just had that in my mind if people played multiplayer though wifi if its considered as playing on the servers.

    but i guess ill wait and see what they decide on. thanks
