Scrollable Layer issues

Hello, I am making a platformer a need some information on the screen to stay put. When this information is placed on the non scrollable layer it disappears in the preview. From googleing other forum discussions it seems I am not the only person with this problem but solutions on those particular post seem to be answered in private messages. Any help would be appreciated.

Does it disappear down as if gravity is on?

Maybe consider spawning the menu on fixed x,y coordinates as a work around

Can you post a quick pic of the layers and highlight the problem actor?

    Are you using scene wrap?

@FryingBaconStudio took me a while to figure what you meant but that was the one. Just to clarifie to anybody else reading, the problem is where you spawn your actor for which the camera will be following. I had my main actor starting the level at the very top left of the screen but you need to place your non scrollable information at the bottom left...this is what is meant by beginning of the scene.
