Do you guys create your own assets or hire someone?

I've downloaded GS Demo and wanted to get the Pro version. Even when I get really serious with GS, I'm sure will need some professional artist. Do you guys create or hire someone to do the graphic works?

    You will get alot of differnt answers on this one :) Personally Im not good at making graphics, but it think it alot of fun, so for now Im doing my own, with som helpful feedback.
    If you got the money, hiering an artis will get you great graphics.

    I do as much as I can and then hire people to do the stuff I can not.

    you also can search for an artist that is looking for a programmer so you can share some work

    I create my assets using 3dsmax. Very few have the ability to do this, but I can make it look 2d or 3d by rendering the 3d assets as images. I am an old pro at 3dsmax, though. I can make characters, fire/smoke particles, and even user interface elements.

    I make my own graphics and my own music. That way I don't have to pay anyone and I know I'm not infringing copyrights. You don't need fancy artwork to have a great-looking game.

    I create my own art (badly) and I'm also doing an evening class in music production so hoping to create my own music too.

    That being said I'm not a fan of music in mobile games so would happily release all my games without music or sounds.

    Try to doing art, music and code thing all but its really hard. It takes your lots of time but you can create what really you want. But if I get good publishing with my first game i am going to work with some other guys.

    I'm not that clever so I have Chris (sprite attack) do the art and Ben Reason for music.

    Socks has a hidden talent :) is that image for sale?

    Art and Sound I do myself, I have done some basic music but mostly look for free stuff.

    Do it all myself... which is probably the reason 90% of my projects never get finished... Creating the art takes so damn long... I know Illustrator and After Effects and work as an animator by day, but when doing my own game projects I love creating game mechanics but seem to limit the amount of time I want to spend on visuals.

    I create all myself. I am for hire and I am on the marketplace. Music, graphics, animation. I have always been doodling. That helps. And being a desk top publisher and a Photoshop and Illustrator Guru helps a bit but that is just production wise, it doesn't make my drawing skills any better.

    @DeepBlueApps

    The original JPEG (hardly any compression at all) can be licensed for £ 54,000 Eurodollars for a 6 month term, but that only comes with 3 legs, the rest of the legs are licensed separately, unfortunately one of the legs broke off as I was posting image so only 7 are currently available, but if he's moving fast enough most people hardly notice.

    I do a bit of both. I normally hire artists and code alittle myself until I get stuck, or haven't the time to complete. I purchase templates right now and change them up to suit what I am looking for
