My submission is Bulletrisk. I did submit it for August, but it has since been updated to support iOS7, officially making this the best game available for the new firmware. Here's the link so you can decide whether that's fact or fiction:
The game gives you 60 seconds to tap the top of the screen as many times as you dare. 1 tap = 100 points. A multiplier goes up with every 10 taps, scoring 200 per tap, then 300 up to 1,000 points per tap. Sounds easy, right? Ah! But tapping sends bullets down the screen towards your ship. So you have to score as much as you can while dodging the bullets that you're making. Risk your ship with more bullets... and there's the name. Bulletrisk. Check out the promo:
With Game Center achievements and leader board, plus Twitter integration, high score retention and toggle-able GFX, this is a classic arcade-style video game brought bang up to date. Please try it out for just 69p/99c!
