hey, so i recently decided to take my art to photoshop instead of illustrator and noticed when opening a document here theres a resolution area... so your suppose to double things for iphone 5 retina and gs will resize. so are these settings correct?

Always make the resolution 72 ppi.

Then set the width and height to the size you need for your game (in pixels).

If your target device is Retina, make the file 480 pixels x 640 pixels.

    (P.S 480 x 640 pixels will use up a 512 x 1024 chunk of memory)

darn... whats the size before that? lol and thanks

would that memory effect every scene? or just the one its in.. because the one its in isnt a major deal its just the character selection scene.

    Hi @VolontaArts

The size before that is 512 x 512. And memory is allocated wherever the same image is used... so each separate scene, if used again, it's loaded into RAM again. I wouldn't get too worried about it though unless you've lots of large images....
