Still getting the "Legacy Language Designator" error that was supposedly fixed.

I read in another thread that this issue was fixed but I'm noticing that other users and myself are still getting the error message on publishing (as seen below). I ignored the warning like many forums have suggested but hope this will not effect my game in the near future. Is there any word on this? Thanks!

"WARNING ITMS-9000 "Legacy Language Designator- The directories located at (my app/English.lproj) use a legacy language designator. Use of the full language name has been deprecated an is not guaranteed to work in future versions of OS."

I was told it was not fixed. We do no need to worry about it until iOS8 someone said...
    :-?

@lycettebros thanks for the response. Appreciate it. Here's for hoping that's true and its not on ios 7.1 or something like that. As for where i heard it was fixed, check the link below and read the 7th comment from the top. I could have read it wrong though. Hmmm.

@anatomyofdreams By the look of that thread @adent42 says it was fixed but no one confirms it.
I hope it was reported as a bug.

It's not fixed but no problem. I published 3 apps with this. Did you get Game Center to work?
  • gamesfuagamesfua Member Posts: 723
@LumpApps, yeah I'm not concerned with publishing it now- Im concerned that with the next iOS update (i.e. 7.03) that its going to render the game incompatible. WHich stinks because from what I understand this error is a simple renaming of a file. I'm not entirely sure why it's taken this long to address.
As for Game Center yes, it's working! Thanks for asking :) It appears that it had to do with game center simply not working on my device because it shut itself off from canceling too many times.
THanks for checking in my friend :)

    Ah, a safety valve ;)
Yes updating could give trouble so keep your current project save and republish and update as is by that time. I mostly make a zip of my latest project file and name that "in app store" or something so I'm sure I haven't messed with it afterwards.
    Cheers!

I submitted an update today and got this error. I just clicked "continue" or "OK" and it let me submit the app, so I'm hoping it will be fine.

@fogarty so its clear the problem is still unresolved. Ugh.
Well the good news is that it should mean no problems for you as of now. Both my apps were submitted and approved by apple- even with the error. Games work fine. Good luck!
