Hey Guys,
Made this yesterday to test a few things and wondered if anyone here has made an on rails game with GS?
On Rails is basically games in which the manner that the player travels around the scene is pre-determined on a line, as if on rails.
Got me thinking about one of my favourite games House of The Dead

I think the recent words from @gyroscope fit here: "Hmm, it's people like you who make me want to give up..."

We had to hold back until GS fixed the -scene camera rotation bug (well tbh i made it again with a work around that was not needed in the end because GS fixed the bug 3 days after i spoke to them Kudos GS Team).
@KevinCross I know m8 not till you finished that Bejeweled template at least :P been following the thread btw.

Not attempted any 'on rail' games myself, though it'll be interesting to see what others have put together.
House of the Dead was the classic example... also loved Virtua Cop.
When 'Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles' came out on the wii... It annoyed the hell out of me cause it was on rails and I wanted more of Resident Evil 3, (which to me had been the only other worth while Wii game I played other than Wii Sports)...
I also remember a great 3d stickman first person shooter that was on rails... that was great.. just tried searching for it, but there are a million bad versions out there.. All black and white but with 3d perspective done in Flash about 10 years ago now. Long before Flash had 3d buttons..
The 'on rails' aspect could make for an interesting touch game and allows for some classic one button/swipe gameplay that lots of people are after.
Good luck mate.
Stars for the swipe, a circle for the find, place bombs to blow up the boss.
Zone 1 swipe to kill zombies, zone 2 find 6 hearts, zone 3 tap on a boss enemy 100 times.
