Kindle Publishing Questions

I'm trying to publish one of my games I created for the iPad and port it over to the Kindle. Here are the questions I have:

1.) When publishing, where do I get the "Android Package Name" from. Does that have to get created prior from my Amazon developer account?

2.) When I try and generate my Kindle APK I get an error message "Please check your settings, make sure your icon and default loading images are png files and try again. Do I have to change my settings inside the GameSalad publisher to fix this or does the GameSalad publisher adjust for all the different platforms it can publish to? I'm using png files so maybe it is just complaining about the size of my icon.

3.) I test my iOS games on the iPad with the GameSalad viewer. How are people testing the Kindle generated files without a Kindle? Does Amazon have some kind of viewer I can load on Apple or PC that I can test my app?

I test my amazon stuff on a kindle fire I bought one to test android stuff over a year ago. I bought the kindle fire as it could serve two functions testing for basic android and amazon store.

I think I may have found my problem. I was trying to submit my iOS formatted program to Amazon. I think I should have had it formatted for Kindle Fire. I have to adjust many of my scenes because of the screen formatting differences between the iPad and Kindle. It will take me a couple hours to fix all of this. I will try publishing again tonight and see what happens.
