Downloadable Tutorial Videos?

I would like to be able to download the tutorial videos so I can watch them without killing my data plan (i.e download at home, and watch when I have breaks). Any chance there is a ZIP or RAR of the videos?

Are these tutorial videos on YouTube? If so there are a number of browser plug-ins that will extract videos from YouTube, there's even a couple of sites that would do this too.

Yes, these are the ones that GS has posted on YouTube. I was hoping not to have to go to each one, DL, go to the next, etc. But if there's not a collection out there already...

Oh right, I'm not aware of a collection. If there's quite a lot of them you could probably narrow them down by downloading videos that would be useful in some of the games you're interested in making, rather than watching a lot of irrelevant ones. I think I've only really watched one or two tutorial videos

None of the videos are irrelevant they all teach you stuff you can use in other ways. This is why people don't code well. Go through them all avid you will get valuable info from them all.

While I sort of understand what you're saying @FryingBaconStudios I don't agree that you need to watch the videos, certainly not all of them. That's a massive waste of time for some people >.< but we all learn through different methods I guess so I can understand how videos are invaluable to some, and I'm sure your videos have helped a lot of people.

Copy each URL and paste it into http://www.keepvid.com, then download the video as an mp4 and watch it at your leisure. Just know that the site has tons of ads and you'll have to find the correct Download button.

Well my point is just because a video is about making a health bar it's not just about that. What it's really about is controlling the size of an actor based on an external variable. You can use the same math/method for other stuff too. Same goes for the other ones. There are ideas presented that build the knowledge needed to start understanding how all the stuff works and the different ways to alter variables. Only with a full
Compliment of knowledge can you being to take the software where others haven't before. I learned a lot from tshirts videos and have watched them all and it helped me get the knowledge to begin doing stuff others hadn't done which led to me showing others new tricks and concepts. After a year of dedicated study I didn't need the videos anymore because I took what I learned and mostly it was the little things and was able to design my own methods and concepts. I know the software inside and out and mostly now it's the little clever ideas people share that I learn from not so much about the software. When I was doing my first iOS app I read all the Apple docs and same for google play and Amazon. I made my profiles without a video simply by following Apple's instructions. All the pieces of the puzzle are out there you just have to put in the work to find it.

FBS - took a look at your video tutorials, and they look like things I will be interested in doing once I get to the point that I can get past the basics. Looking at the GS tutorials, they appear to be based on an older version of the creator. Do you, or anyone else, have a more up to date beginner series - preferably oriented to Windows authoring?
