I am trying to install my app in itunes (AD-HOC). When I hit sync it dose the app downloading pie chart thing and get to about 80% then goes back to where it started. I then tap it, and it dose this all over again. The iPad is pluged into my computer and I can see my adhoc provisioning profile on my moms iPad.

Thanks for your help!!

It's quite a bit easier to do it this way. Open Xcode. Open the organizer. (you can find it under the windows tab I think) Then, just drag your app from the finder and drop it on your device. ;)

I can't because my computer is maxed at lion, so I can't get xcode 5. (I think I need this)

Yes. I've had issues not being to install builds if xcode is current. Not saying that's what you're dealing with, but last time it happened to me, updating fixed it.

That is correct @brickamator, you do need to have the current Xcode running as well as having your ADHoc provisioning profiles and certificates up to date with the app you are running.

I would recommend getting and external HDD and backing everything up and then delete things you don't need or aren't using since they are backed up to then be current with xCode and your operating system! Just a thought!

Understand that but when you publish your GS game in calls to Xcode in the back end. Your Xcode needs to be up to date for it to publish a working build. If your Xcode is not up to date with the current GS Creator you are using then your published build will not work. Hopefully that makes sense.

yea, your gonna need xcode 5 to publish adhoc builds to iOS7. no other way around it.

Why did you bump this? The answer is you need Xcode 5 to support iOS 7. Xcode is what supplies the provisioning to GS to sign the app.

As @FryingBaconStudios why did you bump this? We have given you the answer as to why your build is not working.

That doesn't make any since. AdHoc builds are what you put on your device unless you are you using the GS Viewer. If you trying to put a build on your device that was published for the app store rather than an AdHoc then that won't work. Also, without the current Xcode, if you try publishing your app to apple then it will get rejected as it won't be up to date with their current guide lines.

Why do you need a new computer? If you recall my first comment I explained to you what you could do. Free up space on your computer! Get an external HDD and do a full back up then remove unwanted or barley used stuff from your computers internal HDD as you have it saved to the external. Also, if you have a lot of pictures, music, and videos then put all that on the external. That will free you up a lot of space. Doing a frequent clean up of your computer will probably free up some space surprisingly.

Also, you could get another, bigger HD to put internally into your computer then you could use a program such as 'Super Duper' (which I have used and loved) to basically make an exact copy of your current drive and when your new drive is in the computer and has the old drive copied on to the new drive, it will boot up like just like normal with everything but with MORE SPACE! There's no need to get a new computer just because you are low on Disk space.

Just my opinion and hope everything works out for you!

@ictc I do not need help on this anymore. Bumping is where you post a comment witch bring the page up higher on the list so people will see it.
