Sorry, I haven't played Line Jumper. Can you describe how the touch affects the size? For example, does the actor grow proportionally based on how long you hold the touch on the screen? Or do you drag to increase one dimension of the rectangle? I just need more details here.

Hi, didn't played Line Jumper neither, and don't know if this a help for you.

But did you think on created several "ghost" actors, that will constrain to the position where you want touch to be activated, and move the positon of that "Ghost" actor while (touch pressing), and at same time grow the Principal Actor to position of of the "ghost actor.

Sorry if it look confused, but just draw a square(your actor) and draw inside 9 small squares yout (ghost actors) that will receive the touch.
