gamesalad not showing art?

in Working with GS (Mac)
i have a cube monster guy and i made his image and inserted it and everything is fine. then when i go in the preview it is just a box with no image. Why?????????

    You might be adding the image into the actor but not into the scene editor

    i even deleted the actor in the scene and replaced it and it still breaks

    do you have some sort of change image or attribute behavior in the rules somewhere that is affecting the image attribute?

    no. it shows the picture in the scene and when i click preview, there is just a block instead (it looks really bad that way)

    Try replacing the actor with the image completely... drag out the actor with the cube monster guy from the Inspector, go into the problem version and drag your rules into Custom behaviours, and note the x&y positions.... then delete it. Go to the new one you just dragged out, drag out the Rules and input its x and y positions; fingers crossed you should be OK when previewing.

    I know you've tried this before but maybe not exactly the same way...

    If so, perhaps the larger 'preview' button above the smaller one will work for you.

    i had other art which was working fine and then i noticed the color was wrong so i made a white version and put it in as the character and changed its color to moss then i click preview and whala there is a box that is colored moss, NOT the cube monster guy
