Someone can explain me what is iAds?

I don't understand what it is...I make iads in my app and get money for it?
How did I get the money? People need to press on it?
Or I need to pay for iads so other developers can show my app in their apps?
Please explain this to me..I want to buy PRO and I need to know..

    It's a small banner at the top or bottom of your game/app that shows adverts for other games/services. You don't pay to show iAds in your game (although you do need a pro account) and you get paid for when people click on the banner/ad.

    it depends on your app. if it has only 100 guys, you will get like 0 cents

    I don't see my iAds when I published my game why is that so?
    I activated iAd on itunes, i choose 300x250 all banner in GS
