PARALLAX Tutorial

Hi guys!
I just started with GS by watching hours of T-ShirtBooths-tutorials (which are really awesomew by the way!!) I want to make a angry birds/crush the castle-like game. Unfortunaetly, I couldn't find a T-ShirtBooth Tutorial for parallax scrolling.
Please help me out - thanks!!

We were asked to make an angry birds by the GS team a while back now and we got pretty close as you can see in the video.



We also made our own angry birds template using a refined version of the code.

Thank you! I had a look on it, but there is no parallax effect (the trees have the same velocity as the foreground). Is there a reason, why you didn't do it?

I liked the template, but also to you the question: there is no parallax effect on your template (the trees, the background have the same velocity as the foreground). Is there a reason, why you didn't implement it?
If you have any templates, that comes with it, please let me know!

Hi B,

Its pretty easy to implement but for this one we used a static background image.

Have a look at Stormy's free template it should be easy to edit for your own game.

We have done it before with platform v1 and have a free one over at DBA but it only does horizontal and tbh its an old one now but still works well.

Hi, there was no particular reason I didn't do a parallax background for Angry Snowman, I just decided to keep it static.
