Sorry synthesis, i must admit i got a bit panicked by cmasterenko efforts (posting his intentions 1 hour after my initial post), so started the project. Whilst i honestly wish him all the luck in the world, the more the better i say. I was a bit worried about a 'non-profit' site charging $10 a month, i wanted a site that was genuinely for the community. I mean $10 x 10 users would more than cover hosting, i guess his marketing expertise comes at a price. However i'm not saying its not worth the money. SaladGamers.com will not be marketed in the way that cmasterenko's site will be, i don't have the skills, but if the GS community like it, i'm sure we'd be able to pool resources :)

Am i sure about ASP? Well i that's what i know best, i didn't pick one at random :).

Thanks for the offer of a support structure, i'm sure as the site grows many hands will be needed. Let me get it up first, and we'll take it from there.

EDIT - Again sorry synthesis, i really do appreciate your offer for help, its frustrating. But like i said hopefully the end result will be the same.

Wow, looks like a lot of nice work by the web designers here.

mrfunkleberry... still using Freehand? Cool! I loved Freehand, and hated to see it go. Alas, I saw the writing on the plastered Adobe wall and migrated to Illustrator. But I still miss certain features of Freehand.
