2D Minecraft Styled Game

Hello,

I have recently started making a game similar to minecraft with a randomly generated world, etc.

I was wondering what you guys think about the idea.

In your opinion, is it realistically possible?

Have you ever tried or completed a similar project?

Would you be interested in a "2D Minecraft" template, if I created one?

    I didn't like Minecraft but having recently looked at a couple of 2D versions on the iPhone like "Junk Jack" I can see it being possible in GameSalad if you limit the amount of squares on screen like that one does and re-use the spawned actors when moving around to give the impression of a massive world.
