Collision Shapes

Hi All.

Looking to test out GS after many months of frustration with flash. I'm attempting to make a puzzle game in the style of tangrams and was put off by the prospect of not being able to detect collision among triangular shapes according to my reading of the Physics-Related Attributes section of the GS Windows Manual (pg 28):

collision shape – an actor can have a rectangular or circular collision area. For a circular collision
area, it is the largest circle that can fit entirely in the dimensions of the actor.

Is there a work-around on this?

Many Thanks!

Work around? Maybe a few, but nothing that really look incredibly good and it can be very hard and tedious. Sorry! GameSalad is great with other projects, give it a try!

For this you'd need polygonal or custom collision shapes, unfortunately GameSalad only does rectangles and circles.

Thank you for your responses. I'll keep GS in mind for future projects.
