Computer mode???

Is it possible to add a computer player to play by yourself? If so how?

It really depends on what kind of game it is and what you want the enemy too do. But it can be done. Just watch some videos and you can make it work.

Sure it is, but as mentioned above it totally depends on the game you're making.

I'll just echo what jamie_c and blue_elephant have already said, how to add a 'computer player' entirely depends on your game, if the game is chess you aren't going to take the same approach as you might when it comes to shooting aliens out of the sky . . . or the method used to create a computer player for noughts and crosses won't have much in common with the method you might employ for a racing game.

But, generally speaking the answer is yes.
