stuck on Connecting to Device

in Working with GS (Mac)
trying to preview game on iphone. GameSalad Creator says "Connecting to Device Compressing Game Assets". The blue line goes to the end and just stops there. Nothing happens on GSViewer on iPhone. Game Salad 0.10.4.1 beta. MacBook Pro OS X 10.8.2. iPhone 5.

    Otherwise, you can create a Wi-Fi network with your Mac and then join it from your iPhone.
    How do I do that? That's not something I am familiar with.

    Go to the wifi icon on your status bar
    Click create network
    pick a name/security
    Go on device and connect to that network
