Where's the Customer Service???

j75j75 Member, PRO Posts: 235
So I bought the Sod of War game and it is not working. It deletes files and folders on both mac and windows. The game (right out of the box with no modifications) won't even work on an adhoc build to iphone or ipad. It's glitchy and you can't use the slingshot.

I kindly requested a refund several days ago and haven't heard anything back. Maybe a Mod here can get the ball rolling???
Ignoring my emails is just bad business. Before I initiate a chargeback, I will give GS the chance to do the right thing.

Only today i had a bad experience with customer service (UK outlet online) which is why we strive to go the extra mile over at DBA.

Im sure GS will be in contact soon and sort it out, hold tight.

    Darren.

Your email was not received. Please send again.
    In the mean time...
I'm taking a look at the template now. There may have been changes that affected the template since it was released.

I sent another email this morning, right after posting this and still haven't heard back.
I would be more than happy to keep my purchase if it worked, but as is stands, I'm afraid to use it anymore for fear of it deleting directories on my computer.

Check out my previous thread for more info.

I have checked the HelpDesk and I have not seen a mail. Did you submit it to the Marketplace or to the Support line. @Jesse75.

    Hi @SpinachSalad
I went to: Help>Support>Standard Customer Support

Am I sending it to the wrong place?

@jesse75 we're getting multiple reports of Zendesk not issuing tickets properly, so we'll audit this once we get back in the office.

    Sorry for the issues.

    @jesse75
Sod of War was made way before universal builds and originally just old version iPhone(480x320). It was upgraded to at least the new iPhone(568x320) but was never tested on iPad. As for the glitch, the gnome actor is using Mouse Position X and Y to use the drag functionality, and while it looks great on the desktop preview, its a little glitchy on device. Switching it to Touch 1.X/Y seems to make it run more smoothly.
I also noticed since it was iPhone only earlier, the iPad preview was having other issues on the pause menu. I'm fixing that right now and will send you over a new version, then update the Marketplace version.

Thanks for looking into this for me. So does switching the gnome to touch make it work? Also, are you getting vertical lines in the background when you test? I get them on iPhone 4, iPad and iPad mini.

@jesse75 check your email soon for the updated project.
The seams/vertical lines issue is an engine thing that is being fixed or is fixed with an upcoming dirty branch. It isn't an issue with the project itself, nor should the project itself be deleting any files/directories.
