what is the average download rate for an indie app?

I just created and published my first app and I don't know what the average download rate is and I can't seem to find it. I got 550 downloads my first day. I should expect the download rate to go down after today right? just looking for some information on other peoples experience.

    You can't really measure your app's probable success by how well other apps have done, there are simply too many factors involved, others people's experience, especially on download numbers, will be irrelevant, for the obvious reason that the figures refer to their game and have no relevance to yours.

    yea I see what you mean. they just took it off the spot and my downloads have been lower. 7 downloads away from breaking 1k lol. I wish they had kept it on the appstore for 10 more minutes lol.
