Can I make the screen chase me in GS?

I'm totally new to game salad but I need to take a crash course to develop a game for college.
My game basically involves running ducking, sliding etc. But I wanted it to be incredibly fast paced, their for I want the camera to run with the level as well, and if the player falls behind they fail. Like the game floodrunner or the music level to rayman legends.

If I'm not clear enough, this game has an example :P

Is there any behavior set I can use to achieve this, or am I really punching above my weight. My tutors are obviously going to give me a cash course in running and jumping, but I want my game to have a unique mechanic to other people on the course

Just know that a "simple" game like Flood Runner could take you dozens of hours of work. People come to GameSalad expecting miracles -- "I'll just make Angry Birds this evening" -- without realizing how much hard work goes into those games. I'm not saying you're naive because I don't know you but when you're asking for a crash course, it sounds like you don't have much time.

There are plenty of examples, videos, and templates available. Start here: http://forums.gamesalad.com/discussion/54689/forum-faqs#latest.

Oh don't get the wrong idea, I do need to put in the work, and I plan on spending my time LO , but I am not planning on creating something as richly complex as flood runner :P , I just wanted to use the mechanics its screen has with maybe a points system. :P. I know all the super powers, flying, enemy's etc are beyond me. :P
Still thanks for the link :)

. . . I want the camera to run with the level as well, and if the player falls behind they fail.
Simply have the camera follow your chosen path, but also have it carry with it a 'frame' that sits at the edges of the screen, if you hit the frame (by not keeping up) you die !

I love the opening question for this! Picturing an angry monitor chasing the player around their house. Something I might pay for on the App Store and give to an unsuspecting friend to play when they're next round
