thin grey outline on edge of white actors on iPhone 5

This problem only occurs during testing on an iPhone 5. I have white actors on a white background. The actors contain text. On the iPhone 5, a thin grey line appears around the edge of the white actors. I can't explain where the grey lines come from. The lines don't appear on GameSalad Creator nor on iPhone 4. Would anyone have any ideas where the lines might be coming from and what I can do to fix the problem?

Hi @GamePizza when you say the actors contain text, do you mean Display text on a blank white actor, or text on a white background as a graphic brought in?

The Control Camera behaviour or modifying a template, even a legacy one, won't have anything at all to do with producing the grey outline on the graphics, I don't think.
The reason why I asked if it was a graphic of text including the type is to find out if the grey outline is originating from the graphic itself - and by the sound of it, it does.
So there's a choice of simple solutions, which I'm sure you can guess, just open it in any graphics program and fill the area to the edges with white. Alternatively crop all the images to crop off the edges; or remake with your type on a transparent background.
Whatever, hope you get it sorted as you want.

I have a white background actor that covers the whole background. Imported some white .png images with black text to place over the white background. GSC 0.10.4.1. iPhone 5 iOS 6.0.1.
Oh, OK, I see what you mean, @GamePizza. Hmm, I'm as puzzled as you now…
Are you using iOS7 on both the 4 & 5?

Yes, putting the type on transparent backs would do it for sure; really glad it's solved for you but still intrigued to know what caused the problem - just on the iPhone5 - in the first place… maybe we'll never know…. (possibly a glitch to do with iOS7 maybe…)
