mortar

still a beginner. I'm trying to create a set of rules in which i click on my actor (mortar tube) it unlocks it, and it rotates towards wherever it is my mouse is on the scene and starts a power meter. when i click any where on the scene (in the Up direction (portrait mode)) within the scene boundaries it spawns a mortar in that direction according to the power level and stop on a spot not continue traveling upwards. and if i clic on that actor again it is locked again unable to rotate and shoot until i click it again to unlock it.. I've tried a bunch a ways but the i can only get it to power up and when i try to shoot up it won't fire more than an inch

    Windows or Mac? In the Mac version there are demo projects and one of them is a cannon launcher with this mechanic.

    Or there is lots of great tutorials on YouTube :)

    i tried copying and pasting and editing from the cannon tutorial and sample that comes with mac and am not getting the desired effects.

    yea thanks the video helped a lot. i thought i was a video of the same cannon physics sample that already came with the program but it was a different approach which in turn was what i needed.. thanks A lot!
