Heres a good question for gurus here at GS...Is the keychain the same if I reinstall os X

I had created my certificates...App ID's...Provisioning profiles...published...uploaded app and is in the store...heres the thing...I reinstalled my OS X. Although I downloaded my provisioning profiles for the game I want to update in app store...GS publishing shows my profile but upon signing it says it does not match my Macs identity...I believe this is because I have not downloaded by certificates I created in iTunes connect...will this fix it or do I have to start over with a new keychain authority request, new certificates and make new provioning profiles ? ( a lot of work)...Right now Im kind of afraid to do it and get things all caddywompuss...any advise before I proceed ?

in short, Is my Macs keychain always the same...and if it is then I should be able to just download my certificates, both developer and distribution along with my provisioning profiles and be back to "ready to go"

It is not much work these days in comparison - just do it all fresh and see how you go -I can't tell you what is wrapped up in the profiles and certificates - but when I swapped machines I exported my developer profile and imported it to Xcode - that worked OK then - but with recent changes and me being a business with Apple I am now on the team system - took some getting used to but when you get it sorted it's cool.

Doing it all over refreshes the process or updates it for you since it's changed too.

Sorry this is not an answer so much, but I spent a whole day trying to sort it out a week ago and got the process down and learnt a lot :)

Everything is now managed by Xcode. When you login to Xcode with your developer username and password and refresh Xcode it will install all things messed in your keychain. I just did this as I added a boot drive worked perfect.
