Very weird glitch-bug-problem while making my level

FuzzBuzzFuzzBuzz Member, PRO Posts: 119
Hi everyone! Ok, so i've been working on my project recently and every time i try to incorporate a little more logic in my actors, whenever i play the simulator, that actual actor starts to glitch or something else won't work, like a title that's suppose to destroy it's self but it doesn't... knowing that the logic in that actor has nothing to do with the one I just modified... I'm trying my best to explain my problem here I hope you guys can see what I'm trying to say lol. But it's really starting to get on my nerves... it feels like the Gamesalad creator can't handle to much logic or something... If i'm mistaken please let me know!
Thanks !

Try setting the zoom level to 50%. I find that my actors often don't run their rules if I'm viewing at 100%.

Other than that, if you have complex rules and one change is affecting another, it's time to simplify your code.

Uhm, do you mean the simulator on an actual device or the built-in GS simulator? For testing purposes only use the first one, the second one is for basic stuff, but NOT for publishing test's. If this bug appears on an actual device: something in your code is messed up :/
Yeah the built in simulator. Just tried it again and now the scene turns all black and i can't see any of my actors... I can only hear the sounds. What Do you mean by First one and Second one??

Just tried the 50% Zoom, doesn't change anything... And My code is as simple as it can get. If the code is actually the problem, I haven't got a clue how I can make good quality games if it can't deal with such a small amount of code... But again i doubt that the code is the problem. Can the actual GameSalad Simulator ( preview ) is not powerful enough or something??
    Thanks again

Can you record it and post it on youtube?

If you need to find screen recording tool, there are plenty on the Mac App store.

Also, there are times I felt GS couldn't handle the logic, but it always turns out to be my own fault. A common one during my beginner days is if I spell a mathematical function incorrectly, GS does not like that.

@FuzzBuzz if you'd like, you can send me a link to download your project file and I'll let you know what the problem seems to be. Or you can post screenshots of your rules but without at least one of those, it's impossible to know what the problem is.
