Can someone give me the low down on what is going on with the tizen store please.
From what I can tell, the store is accepting submissions and will open to the public soon.
However, I have seen people talk about their apps being accepted and are now for sale on the store.

The apps have been accepted and are ready for sale when the store opens to the public which will be some time early next year. You can't buy the apps at the moment. All this work is in preparation for when the store opens there will be apps in the store. Tizen is pushing for developer support as apps play a big part in device sales and they want developers onboard that is why GS has this Tizen promotion going ... At the moment you can package apps but you have to test them using the tizen emulator as there are currently limited test devices. Hope this clarifies it for you ... ;-)
