CSS3 games

Hi y'all,
I've been enhancing my jquery skills and programming a couple of applications at work utilizing such technology and came about this:

http://www.optimum7.com/css3-man/

By using only javascript, html5 and css3, we can start coding how Apple wants and use webkit to compile and submit our own 'css3 games'.

There are some engines I found as well in early betas or browser only:

http://www.effectgames.com/effect/

http://gamequery.onaluf.org/

Obviously, this is mainly for people with programming background, but worth a try.

If only somebody could create an EDITOR like GS for it (Gendai wink wink), that'll be awesome.

Cheers ;^)

    Hi!

    I mentioned something similar here...

    (Export to HTML 5)

I tried playing around with some of the new HTML 5 features, but I wasn't able to get it to work on the iPhone / iPod Touch. Is HTML 5 even supported yet?

Which version of the iPhone OS supports HTML 5?

I've been trying to view HTML 5 examples with my phone, but it doesn't seem to be working for me.

Wow... my iPod Touch scored higher (133) than Firefox 3.6.3 (101).

What does this mean though? Can I start making some cross-platform games?

I'm running version 3.1.3 on my iPod Touch.

Android didn't do that well either... 39 out of 160. (I have an older phone though... a G1.)

I got excited about gamequery (I love jQuery) but it performed very poorly on my iphone 3G.
After about 3-5 animated sprites, it just got unusable. *wishes he had at least an iphone 3G[S]*

Looks very promising for the future though.

PhoneGap and Titanium Appcelerator use the same such beasts for gaming elements and also include integration with the iDevices' UI objects too.
