A lesson GS has taught me once again by kicking me in the ass

After about 3 days of trying to find a work around because I was having an actor select issue in my new game I was just kicked in the ass by GS and it just "magically" worked.

The lesson I learned:
the GS program is like one big math problem. and the #1 rule in math is ORDER OF OPERATIONS.

I was messing around with my rules and trying to make a work around and re arranged some on the rules in the process. after my work around did not work I deleted it and because I had switched some rules around the order of operations worked like I wanted it to.

If you are ever frustrated with GS because something is not functioning how you planned it take a breath look at all your rules in that actor from top to bottom. Read through them and see if it makes sense they way it is ordered. If not then re-arrange them and see how things turn out. Sometimes the hardest bugs to figure out are just an ordering issue.

I am in a moment of euphoria because I finally got it working properly.

Time to celebrate with Halo... lol
