How to Make a Joystick/Joystick Templates

Hello. I want to add a Joystick into my game, but I don't want to start over and use the template they give you. When I drag the Joystick from the GameSalad template to my game it shows it as "Image Missing". Can anyone lead me through the steps it would take to make a Joystick, and put it into my game (or tell me how to transfer GameSalad's joystick template without it saying "Image Missing")? Or can you give me a link to a download for a good template for a joystick. Thank You for helping me:) Bye:)

When you use a template, you have three basic choices:

    1. Start with the template and build your game around it using the template project file.

    2. "Copy" (usually this means manually as copy & paste and drag 'n' drop are not effective ways of moving actors or rules between project files) the attributes and rules by re-creating them in your existing project file.

    3. Use a tool such as DeepBlueApps' project merger (http://www.deepblueapps.com/gs-project-merger) to combine the template with your existing project file.

I used the very same project merger and imported the cross platform template (which has a nice thumbstick) into a universal build template and then....merged into my actual gane I had made...without a "player"....then used the scene merger app and then.....used the resizer tool and BAM! Best tools eva !
