Parental gate = got rejected by i-tunes

Hello I have been rejected of my app in i-tunes because of “Parental Gate” . I was trying to make a made for kids app.

"24.3 Apps primarily intended for use by kids must get parental permission or use a parental gate before allowing the user to link out of the app or engage in commerce"

How do i get that “Parental Gate” thing? Anybody how to solve this in made for kids category?

do a search, there's a few older threads on it with one good ideas. it's nothing special, just a prompt to keep kids from getting in accidently.

you can also download apps by disney, they have a parental gate in their apps you can check out.

Like @jonmulcahy said, it's really not a big deal. You just have to implement an extra barrier between the game and anything outside of your game on the internet or appstore.

If you app has a way to leave the app, you have to have something pop up that would make it difficult for a child to be able to get past and would require a parent to get involved.

So for instance, in our games (designed for ages 2-6), whenever we have a button that leaves the game (i.e. - "More Apps" button, "Rate this App" button, etc), we have a separate scene that brings up a random math problem. We also spell out that this is for the parents.

It is important to note, that ANYTIME your app leaves the game and goes to the internet or someplace else, you need this. I have seen some people say that they had a Parental Gate but it was not instituted for every button (I guess they forgot 1 or 2) and it got rejected.
