Purchasing coins vs purchasing pennies

I am making an app that involves currency.
In the app, there are IAP's to obtain additional US currency such as dimes, quarters, dollars, etc.
I had a thought that Apple may not allow the use of purchasing something resembling real currency, and would rather us use coins.

Is this a rule Apple has? Just wondering since I've never seen actual US coins used.

I think if you use the names, dime, quarter, and not images you'd be okay. But there are laws against using images of actual currency, though I don't know for sure what they are. Try a google search maybe...
