Hey all, wanted to give a quick heads up that my first game is heading to an app store near you. Pearl Attack can be best summed up as a mix of missel commander and pinball. I'll post some pics and a video later today.

    Does anyone know the best way to record an iphone games?

    omg thank you both of you. I actually thug out my ps3 cam and eye of judgement stand...It was awkward. This will work much better. Video coming in about an hour in that case. I look forward to hearing what you guys think!

    Ha thanks, theres a bit more to the game then we showed off. But I wanted just to go through the basics. I did the "old man" sound effects lol.

    It reminds me of insaniquarium.

    From what I've seen in the video, the game seems OK. It might not be a bad idea to clean it up and give it some polish though. For example, the clams could animate / open when clicked and maybe give the artwork some more depth.

    As said in that old game school commercial... "tighten up the graphics"

    Clams actually do open up. The reason it's not clear in the video is because the actor animates while pressed, not released. When playing the game on an iphone it makes it look very natural. But with a mouse....Not so much. That being said we're still working on the graphics/animation. Thanks for the look over!

    There's also a fancy way to display the score... custom fonts? I don't know how your frame rates are holding up, but if you have some extra processing power to spare, that might be something to look into.

    Custom fonts? Hm, I couldn't figure out how to do them. But that sounds like a great idea. I'm begin searching the forums.

    Working on some animations and custom fonts. But the best part is the game is IN REVIEW! YEA! *Guitar solo* Anyone know how long it takes from this point on?

    By the way, in iShowU there is an option to not record the mouse and, in my opinion, that looks better/more professional.

    Yea i ended up showing the mouse so its easier to make out the gameplay.
