Bonus for downloading another app?

I've seen apps that offer an incentive for downloading another app.
How does the app determine if the item is actually downloaded? Is there any way GameSalad can do this?

    I don't think it's possible with GameSalad. I've always "faked" it - I tell them to download it and if they do, they get extra coins. When they touch the icon, the URL takes them to the App Store page. Below the open URL behavior I have placed a change attribute to give them coins. This will work even if try don't download the app. This is the only way I know how to do it.

    That's how I was thinking about doing it. Maybe using a timer to delay the coin increase for 20 seconds or so.

    @jesse75 / @Braydon_SFX - Maybe possible with the new Json upload / download, but you'd have to put something in the app they download that edits the file. The more I think about it, that's totally possible, if you put something in both apps. ;)
