I have a mortar tube that I want to rotate with touch. Then, when touch is released, it will spawn an actor (mortar round).
Problem:
I have tried cannon physics, and it is not what I am looking for. The cannon physics uses mouse, and the actor follows wherever the mouse touches on the screen. I only want the actor to rotate when it's touched and moved by touch.
Next, the mortar spawns sideways. It does not come out of the tube like it should. It also does not have a trajectory like a mortar should. It looks more like a ball. It should have a trajectory like a rocket, with the tip gradually turning towards the ground for impact.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I am stuck here.

Why are your demos always so much fun?!
I added a power setting so that the longer you hold it down the farther the mortar goes.

I see your power setting and raise you an over-the-top cannon recoil, shot noise and smoke trail . . . !

(I didn't do any cleaning up, so after a couple of shots the whole scene becomes weighed down by loads of unneeded smoke actors, it's what I like to call 'classy coding').

I remember your issue about mortar angle being addressed in a tutorial called Angry Snowman*
