Am i being paranoid?

I dont know why i am scared about this but is it ok to say my company (like) name? Anything i should do so im not afraid of someone saying "Oh thats an awesome name... I WANT IT". Do i copy right it or what? im so confused about this.

    1) Relax
    2) You might want to grab the domain name if it's available
    3) If in a US city, register your business with your local borough/city hall
    4) If you're really paranoid about it... maybe get a trademark or something

    When that's set up, then you can announce your business name. If not, it's going to be pretty hard to do business with a name you're worried about using.

    ...and yeah, this community is mostly cool... but I wouldn't recommend broadcasting your ideas if you're worried about other people taking them... not until you're protected.

    Ok i understand and geting a domain name right as i type this :). and im good to say my name and not have to be worried?

    Once you have a domain name registered, that information becomes publicly available. You might want to wait the 24-48 hours before it fully goes through though.
