Resolution Independence Question! [DUMB]

Hello to everyone,

First of all, I want to apologize for opening this thread asking a question about RI while the forum is full of threads about it.

But I can't still figure it out.

I have started a project iPhone Landscape, Resolution Independence checked. Creating an actor and I drag an image to the image field for this actor. The image is 64x128 itself. I expected GS to automatically resize it to 32x64 as people say - "draw an image twice as much as you wish to be in GS". However, it is still popping as 64x128 which is obviously too big for what I want.

If someone who can explain to me and give me idea what to do it would be great.

FYI: I want the image to be shown as 32x64.

What is the resolution of the image (in ppi) you are importing into GameSalad ?

If you want your image shown as 32x64, the actor has to be 32x64.

Creating an actor and I drag an image to the image field for this actor.
If you want to ensure the actor is created at the same size as the image then simply drag the image from the Images panel into the Actors panel.
The image is 64x128 itself. I expected GS to automatically resize it to 32x64 . . .
GameSalad resizes the actor, GameSalad does not resize the image in any way.
