how to constrain an actor and still have it collide?

Hi there,
In my game I am having two armies attack each other. I want each hero actor to have an area around them, that when an enemy goes inside the heros constrained zone, the hero will attack the enemy in its zone. Any suggestions? Thanks

Thank you but I am not sure how to incorperate this with an actor's "zone".
