Ok so I have downloaded the "basic" game salad program, I don't want to have to go "pro" unless I have to. I have my app completed, I just am confused on what I have to pay for in order to publish it to the iTunes app store. Do I JUST have to buy the developer subscription for 99$ from Apple ? Or is there something else I have to have as well. Thank for all the help, I just don't want to mess anything up

however be aware that in the free version of gamesalad your app will have ads automatically inserted. you have to go pro to remove them, and get access to a bunch of other awesome features.

Also, do you have any knowledge about Xcode ? I have download that, and I have some coding experience - is there any hidden fees when it comes to uploading to the App store?
Gamesald, is by far the best program I have been using - Just that initial 250$ is a sucker punch that hurts a little lol.

I am already working, but since I'm still enrolled in my MS degree which seems to take forever to finish, I am still able to avail of the promo.
It might also be a good idea to have more than just 1 game complete before going Pro -- just something to consider because it might be easier/quicker to break even the cost. 12 months has a tendency of fleeting.

It's not too bad but don't expect it to be a walk in the park either. Typically something goes wrong but lots of helpful people around on the forums, best of luck. Just follow the instructions carefully and take your time
When it comes to publishing the App, the part that seems like it would be the hardest would be getting it set up when it comes to the Actually Apple part. Gamesalad makes it look easy, but the hard part seems setting up stuff in the developer part....
These forums/ppl are so great and helpful.
