Scene Attributes

As usual, any help greatly appreciated.

I can see that GS allows to create scene attributes, but I'm not sure how they can be accessed during the game (only Game ones are visible). If they can't be accessed, then what is the purpose of being able to create the scene attributes?

Thanks,
Adam

if you unlock a actor on the scene you can access the scene attributes.

Sorry, but I don't understand what you are saying?
What does the actor have to do with a particular scene's attributes?

This is not an intuitive aspect of using GameSalad Creator. Only unlocked actors can access scene attributes. So if you want to change (e.g. Change Attribute) or use (e.g. in a rule condition or a move behavior, etc.) a scene attribute, you have to double-click on an actor on a scene and then click the lock symbol to turn it into an unlocked instance. As an aside: unlocked instances also have their own rules that are unique to that copy of the actor and can be different from the prototype actor's rules found in the actor inspector pane.
