Editing actor .xml files

I probably did something very stupid, but I wanna see if there's a way to fix this, I tried changing an attribute type in the .xml file of an actor, since I heard you were able to do that, but ever since I changed it, I haven't been able to open the project. Does anyone know how I'd be able to fix it? Changing it back to the original attribute that it said didn't do anything. (I changed it from integer to index, but then back to integer), or should I just delete the whole actor?

I don't know the answer to your question but it is worth pointing out you should always make a copy/new version of your project before changing anything. I know that doesn't help you now but it might help someone else reading this thread. GS is notoriously unstable and new versions should be created often and ctl + s should be used all the time.

Send a support ticket they are probably your best option for an answer to the problem if there is one.

Actually, I didn't fix the problem, but I DID have a backup on my laptop thankfully. But thanks for telling me that anyways for future reference, I'll make sure I have a backup next time I do something like that!
