How to prevent moving actors from changing position upon collision.

First off, I'm new to GameSalad so please forgive me if I'm asking something that is common knowledge or has been posted before on the forums.
I have actors which serve as platforms that move vertically from the bottom to the top of the screen. Whenever the main character collides with these platforms while falling, I noticed that the platforms either move down slightly or move horizontally when the character collides with them from the side.
I've tried increasing the density of the platforms and decreasing the density of the character but it doesn't seem to resolve the issue. Is there any way to have the platforms stay fixed while moving up on the screen so that if another object collides with it, the platform will continue to move as is?
Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you very much!
