    Trying to get developers to pay you to make them apps?

    ZOMG - why didn't I think of this?

    Step 1: Offer a service to a group that doesn't need it and will mock you.

    Step 2: ????

    Step 3: Profit!

    @peach, I actually have an idea for Step 2 ... Make a decent app, sell it to GS Pro dev for a cut in the profits. The app gets released with all of the perks of a Pro account, and you get paid.

    I'd like to see a new topic created in this forum especially for iluveunc. We can call it "Here we go again" or "Things to do with unwanted money" or "The ill-conceived corner" or "Rubbish".

    @iluveunc i admire your tenacity and 'business' drive. But you just keep alienating folks by repeatingly posting badly thought out ideas. Collectively they equate to the incomprehensible 'donate' button on your website. So before your next post, please consider the following points.

    These points are not in any particular order and are by no means comprehensive.

    1. Do i have a good idea that is of benefit to the customer (not just yourself)?
    2. Am i putting a fair price on this product or service?
    3. Who shall i target, who will most benefit from this product or service?
    4. What are the problems?
    5. What does the competition offer?
    6. How can i differentiate from the competition?
    7. How can i improve my offer?
    8. Can i take another bashing from the GS community?
    9. Do i need more experience to see my idea through? Who can help?
    10. Don't just ask your mum for feedback on your ideas.
    11. Research
    12. Read some books on business and Entrepreneurship

    Once you have answered these and a 100 more questions, only then do you know you have a valid idea. Then (if it's of benefit to the GS community) we'd love to hear from you!

    mrfunkleberry has made some excellent points. It does feel like you are frequently posting threads of no real value, all looking to make a few dollars. Like the ol' $40 for a chance at an iPad thread.

    You will note that it *did* require a <PAUSE> So at present it is not possible...
