I would like to know how to change a character in a template but make it work the same

I have a template and I am working on making it my own. I want the characters to work the exact same but I want to use a png image of my own that I created.

I am new here and wondered if anyone could direct me to a tutorial on how to do this.

    Just create your own images with the same name as the images in your template. then drag and drop the new image into the GameSalad "images" library ( bottom left). Your new images will now be displayed in all actors where the old image were at.

    Thank you BobD for your reply. It is much appreciated. I am reading the manual right now from beginning to end. I hope to be a pro one day as well.

    @BobD Do you need to delete the old images prior to dragging the new ones in?

    @Blowfishfruit Y I would strongly suggest it, if your not using the images it would just take up space, add the new ones and highlight the old one then click the '-' icon at the bottom
