Sound Feedback for GameSalad 0.8.6

The current version of Photics: Fireball on the App Store uses both Positional Sound and Velocity Shift. After the changes with 0.8.6, my game sounds very different.
I think I like the changes to positional sound. Although it is a bit dramatic as the fireball shifts from one side of the screen to the other. Maybe there's not enough sound overlap? Perhaps that should be an option that the developer could set.
As for velocity shift, it seems too weird and a bit unnatural. It was almost cool, but the sound created is too harsh. Again, I think there should be an option to determine the multiplier. If I was able to turn the effect down a little, it might be a great addition to my game. So, if I was to re-release Photics: Fireball right now, I would disable velocity shift.
But right now, I'm not feeling the need to release my game. I don't know if 0.8.6 makes my games sound better. It seems to be a bit worse. I don't like the idea that sound effects can play after an actor is dead. With earlier versions of GameSalad, I learned how to work around that issue and I felt that it was more consistent than what's being done now. While testing my game, the fireball "died" but the sound kept playing in a loop. I disabled "Run to completion" and hopefully that fixes the issue. I wasn't able to duplicate the bug, but I had a feeling that this would happen as soon as I read the update notes.
