Hi

Can someone please tell me what the white frame represents within the stage area. Is it like a title safe area similar to when video editing?

    No, it is the tracking area of the camera. When the camera follows an actor it wil start following it when the actor hits the side of the area. When you click on the camera on the stage (top left) you can adjust the size. Click back on the arrow to get back to the actor mode.
    You can let the camera follow an actor by putting a "control camera" attribute in that actor.
