Switching Scenes

in Working with GS (Mac)
For some reason, SOMETIMES I have to add a screen in between when switching to another scene. I'm not sure how this works, so if someone could explain it to me a bit, I think it'd help me know my boundaries with that. ~O)

    What kind of screen? Can you explain the context a bit more?

    Do you mean ad a custom loading screen or?
