Actors and Vector graphics

Hi

I am new to GS. It appears all graphics need to be in vector is this correct? Maybe someone could point me to a good resource and downloads?

No it's no correct that graphics need to be "in vector"... they can certainly be made in a vector program, like Adobe Illustrator, but have to be imported into GSC as a bitmapped image.

There are plenty of websites where you can download free vector artowk, although as i've explained, the majority of these, although created with vectors, are downloaded as bitmapped. Just google free vector artwork, or free vectors.

(I'm just assuming you want free graphics; if you're prepared to pay, there's the GameSalad Marketplace worth a look, as well as yet more websites to be found.)

Same with images; there's a lot of sites where you can download other types of graphics, made into bitmaps, as well as photos, just google for them, free graphics, or free photos, etc.
