.gsproj vs. .gameproj?

Hi all,

When I save a GS working file, it saves as .gameproj.

I am looking at some GS files (from late last year) by others, and what I assume are their working files are .gsproj.

My GS, which I assume is the latest version as I downloaded it only about a month ago (on Mac) will not open these .gsproj files. Is there any reason for this?

Cheers
A

As I posted in the Teacher's forum:

The .gsproj or .gameproj files are Windows and Mac Creator project files. Either one should open on a Mac. GameSalad project files contain all images and sounds, so there is no need to require the image files separately or to import anything.

Try renaming the files with .gsproj so that they end in .gameproj and then open them with Mac Creator.

I've had the same problem but the opposite. I've changed the extension from .gameproj to GSPROJ but when I tried to open it, GS says it was made in a newer version of GS....but i've just installed the thing yesterday

If you Google windows mac gamesalad convert and click on the Videos tab, the first few videos explain how to convert a Mac Creator file to Windows.
