Hi guys I know this is off topic but I need to make some money for a macbook pro. And then A gamesalad pro license.

I would like to make an online web store, and I took Design & Technology for school. Does anybody know what I could sell online? I know tshirtbooth sells tshirts and he does well with that.

Thank you :)

Assuming that this isn't long term, only until you get enough for a macbook pro and GS pro, can't you sell some stuff you don't want on ebay? Obviously you won't be able to make £3500 or however much it is, but it's a start i guess.

Yep, I will need money for both soon!

I'm going down the GS route though, as it's something I enjoy doing, and I believe in my forthcoming apps. So I'm ok ;)

But you. Well, I'd advise doing the same to be honest, but there are also places like Zazzle that sell a variety of items.

    e.g. http://www.zazzle.co.uk/quantum_sheep :)

Be warned though, anything you sell online you'll end up with the same problem as on the App store. Namely visibility. There are almost 30 *billion* items available on the Zazzle site for example...

    Good luck,

    @TshirtBooth

How do you get your supplies, just out of curiosity?

@iDev - just a heads up. I am in the process of starting a small business right now (www.sciTunes.com) and I have played around with some other business ideas in the past. To even make the $4000 that you need for a macbook pro and GS pro you will need to put in a lot of work. If there was some quick and easy way to just make $4000 everyone would be doing it.

Not sure what specific skills Design and Technology has helped you acquire, but have you looked at www.rentacoder.com ? I think you can sign up as a coder and then bid on projects that people want done for them. I am assuming that www.rentacoder.com takes a cut, but I would guess that it would be a lot easier to make $4000 doing that as compared to starting your own business.

    best of luck!

you could probably find someone on there that wants an app made for them and you could charge them $2000. Then use that to buy the GSpro account so you can put your clients logo in place of the GS start up logo. You'd be half way there!

Yeh true, I do have a bit saved to be honest what I really need is clients for my web design business.

    Cheers guys.

Also from an old post I heard a 15inch is the way to go yeh?

iDeveloperz, i think your best possibility is actually GS.
i have made 1200£ in the past 3 months... and now i am working with appchogie on some applications (2 so far).
if i were you id search for an artist to collaborate with and do a 50/50 bargain with the artist.
GS is (in my opinion) your one and only hope :)

You need the best idea in the world that you have put a lot of thought into.

I often get these ideas when sitting at the back in maths by the window, while daydreaming

Hmm, I do do a lot of daydreaming in maths xD

If I had the money I would love to perfect earth attack.
